How to calculate Spotify royalties in 2026

Estimated royalties = streams ÷ 1,000 × the platform rate. If you want the number already done, open the royalty calculator.
These are the calculator rates. Spotify does not use a fixed rate: it splits a pool. A listener in the United States or the United Kingdom lands around US$1.75 to US$2.75 per 1,000, and one in Mexico, Argentina, or Brazil around US$0.40 to US$1.10. A paid plan weighs more than the ad-supported version, and Spotify does not pay out if the track does not pass 1,000 streams in the year.

- Deezer: US$2.35.
- Amazon Music: US$2.50.
- Pandora: US$0.70.
- YouTube: US$0.875.

An example with 100,000 streams
On Spotify: 100,000 ÷ 1,000 × 2 = US$200. On Tidal, the same count estimates US$600. On YouTube, US$87.50.
